Dion Thompson-Davoli
Dion Thompson-Davoli is an Economic Development Intern in the Land Use and Development Department at Smart Growth America. In this role, he supports a portfolio of technical assistance, research, and data analysis to promote equitable, sustainable development in partnership with communities and organizations from across the county.
Dion is a Masters Candidate in Urban and Regional Planning at Georgetown University with a concentration in Land Use and Urban Design. Before joining Smart Growth America, he worked in rural economic development at the National Association of Development Organizations and as a Homeless Housing Navigator in Detroit’s Continuum of Care for homeless assistance. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame.
