Andrew DeFrank (he/him) is the Economic Development Intern at Smart Growth America. He is from Washington, DC and currently lives in New York City while pursuing a Master of Urban Planning from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service.

Andrew has a background in transportation, having worked at the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) as a transportation planner for bus priority and a community engagement specialist. Prior to DDOT, he was a legislative fellow in the US Senate.
