November 3: Planning for the future of transit and TOD in Commonwealth communities
Planning for the future of transit and TOD in Commonwealth communities
Wednesday, November 3
10:00am – 12:00pm EDT
Workers are beginning to return to work and transit systems are beginning to grapple with the return to a new normal. However, the new normal is about more than just workers returning to buses and trains; it is also about how transit systems are adjusting to shifts in funding and rider preferences, as well as how the built environment and other services around transit and mobility hubs will support workers, travelers, and communities. During this session, expert speakers will discuss how communities can plan for new transit and mobility trends moving forward. The session will also include best steps for identifying and securing federal resources for transit-oriented and equitable development.
