Julia Camacho
Julia Camacho is a Policy Intern at Transportation for America. She is currently an undergraduate student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) studying computer science and urban science & planning.
Julia is passionate about civic and public interest technology and is interested in public transit, affordable housing, and racial justice policy. She previously served as a Civic Innovation Corps Fellow at the City of Boston, where she worked on data analysis and performance management in the City’s Department of Innovation and Technology. She was also a research assistant at the Data + Feminism Lab and Civic Data Design Lab at MIT, where she focused on data analysis and visualization. At MIT, Julia is also involved in ethical computing research and AAPI advocacy.
