Michael Brenneis is a Senior Associate with the State Smart Transportation Initiative. In his previous position with the City of Madison, Department of Transportation, he developed spatial data, analyses, maps, and GIS applications for internal customers and public distribution, and modeled parking demand and supply. In addition, he managed open-data and asset-management projects for the Parking Utility. Michael holds an MS in Geology from the University of Wyoming, a BA in Geology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a GIS Certificate from the Department of Geography at the UW-Madison.
