Governor Glendening to be keynote speaker at APA Idaho Annual Conference

On October 10-12, the Idaho chapter of the American Planning Association will host its 2012 Annual Conference in Boise, ID. Parris Glendening, President of Smart Growth America’s Leadership Institute and of the Governors’ Institute on Community Design will provide the keynote address.

The Governors’ Institute also helps these leaders to design and implement policies of their own, providing the basis for good, effective policy.

Smart Growth America has also engaged with local governments and officials in Idaho, including Kim Billimoria of the Yellowstone Business Partnership; Elaine Klegg of the Boise City Council; and the city of Kimberly, where Smart Growth America provided technical assistance in the form of a cool planning workshop.
