The second annual LOCUS Leadership Summit is less than three weeks away and we are pleased to announce the additional of several exciting speakers to the Summit’s agenda:
- Matthew Yglesias, Slate Magazine’s Business and Economics correspondent, and author of The Rent is Too Damn High: What To Do About It, And Why It Matters More Than You Think
- Ben Miller, co-founder of Popularise, a real estate crowd-sourcing website and affiliate Fundrise, an online investment platform for local real estate (Read more about Ben Miller’s work in this recent article in The New York Times)
We’re also excited to announce that the Summit will take place this year at the Hotel Monaco, located in the heart of DC’s bustling Chinatown/Penn Quarter neighborhood.
LOCUS’s Leadership Summit gathers leading smart growth real estate developers from around the country to learn from each other, gain insights into key policy issues impacting smart growth real estate, and connect with Congress to promote reforms aimed at encouraging the type of sustainable, walkable development that the market is demanding. We hope you will join us for this truly unique and exciting event.
