With support from the Kresge Foundation, and in partnership with Forecast Public Art, Smart Growth America is now accepting artist applications for the second round of the Arts & Transportation Rapid Response, an initiative for transit agencies looking to creatively and quickly address pandemic-related transportation challenges.

Each of the three projects are unique and have a set of specific requirements. Before submitting your application, please review the scope for the project for which you are applying to ensure you are eligible. Applications are only being accepted from artists who are local to the respective projects (see the scopes for more information on geographic eligibility). The project scopes can be found below:

• Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority Project Scope (Atlanta, GA)
• Port Authority of Allegheny County Project Scope (Pittsburgh, PA)
• Quaboag Valley Community Development Corporation Project Scope (Ware, MA)

The deadline for submission is 5:00 pm ET on February 19, 2021. Artists will be notified of their status by the beginning of March 2021.
