We’re doing a special blog series highlighting some of Smart Growth America’s favorite accomplishments from 2012. This is the seventh of twelve installments.
In 2012 Smart Growth America went to, worked with and spoke in dozens of towns across the country.
Some of these visits were part of our technical assistance program, where we delivered customized workshops for community leaders. Other trips were part of our LOCUS work, meeting with smart growth developers and investors. We joined town hall meetings, met with our coalition of allied non-profits, advised state Departments of Transportation, spoke at conferences and more. Our travels in 2012 took us to:
