State of the Art Transportation Training

Sound Transit Light Rail train approaching station

We are excited to announce State of the Art (SOTA) Transportation Training, a new opportunity for communities to better integrate artistic and cultural practices in transportation projects. With generous funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, and in partnership with Americans for the Arts (AFTA), our Transportation for America program will be providing hands-on technical assistance workshops to three communities in 2018 to help them build their capacity for artistic and cultural practices.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn how your city can leverage creative placemaking in transportation projects, gain hands-on technical assistance geared towards addressing your community’s unique challenges, and put in practice the concepts T4America explored in our Creative Placemaking Field Scan.

Applications are now closed, but complete information about the application can be found here informational PDF. If you are interested in having a SOTA Transportation Training in your community, please contact Ben Stone, Director of Arts & Culture, at [email protected].
