Adams, President of Meliora Design, Alisa Valderrama, Senior Project Finance Attorney at Natural Resources Defense Council and Christine Zimmer, Senior Manager of Water Protection and Restoration for Credit Valley Conservation. They discussed the many facets of low impact development and green infrastructure which can enhance smart growth communities across the country including:

  • Emphasizing the existing demand for incorporating low impact development and green infrastructure in existing urban communities
  • Addressing the perceived “high cost” of LID and green infrastructure
  • Identifying the many applications of LID and green infrastructure projects
  • Successful examples of LID and green infrastructure projects that meet the needs of community and can improve a developer/investor’s triple bottom line
